A really powerful earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale hit the southern part of Sumatera!
This occurs around 6.17pm.
This huge earthquake has caused tremors in Malaysia, and it can be felt in various parts of Malaysia.
Some of my friends in Petaling Jaya and Ampang Park said that they felt the tremor. Even people in UM said that they felt it!
Tsunami alerts have been issued especially in Indonesia, Thailand, India and including Malaysia. But the Meteorological Department of Malaysia have said that it might not reach Malaysia.
Hopefully.
I just watched the movie Tsunami at Haeundae, and err.. i hope there won't be any
Tsunami at Kuala Lumpur!
The greatest part of it all, I was too busy playing football and scoring goals, i did not feel a thing. Nice.
